Adolf Hitler once said, "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." It is true that from constant repetition people will only see as that to be the only truth and nothing but the truth. From a simple commercial to modern media people are influenced constantly and nobody knows what’s real because most of it is just a big fat lie. Many ads will lay their way in order for the consumers to purchase an item they really don't need. This is where propaganda comes into place; it is used in commercials, religion, and many more. It shows the outcome of what it will be like if the consumer obtains this item or ideology, many will depict that the consumer the Godly figure that is invincible to anything. This sort of propaganda may look silly at first but with constant repetition it will be implanted into the deep subconscious of the human mind.
It is truly sad that some people believe everything they hear on the tube, many can't have an honest opinion because they are inspired from the media on what to wear or what to do. Nothing is ever going to be real if the lie of propaganda is influenced to the mass. My personal experience with this situation was when I saw a commercial, it described to me that buying this fragrance will make any men irresistible to women. I first saw this as a joke, but as the commercial repeated many time I wanted it. It is amazing what a little repeated process can do to a human mind; it triggers this sensation that it is truly the only real thing in the world while in reality it’s just a one big lie. With a little repetition it will forever be in your mind and nothing can erase that fact. Religion itself uses this repetition of lies also, since the dawn of time religion sets out a system of rules and if anyone defies the rule you'll end up in eternal hell. In truth no one knows for sure and by spreading this many will later submit to this idea.
Our mind constantly soaks in information’s; no matter if it’s useless or useful it will constantly soak in everything. With constant repetition even a lie can be believable it just have to be simple and straigh forward. It is just one of many methods to control the human mind by using propaganda and showing the "great" outcome of it.

Our Way of Thinking
Albert Einstein once said, "No amount of experimentation can ever prove me right; a single experiment can prove me wrong." From this quote I learned that even the great can be proven wrong by anyone, its just the matter on how people will take their once great ideas to be proven wrong. One of the most dangerous things that can ever happen to the human conscious is to be proven wrong. We the human race loves nothing more than to feel superior or be "right." This habit of thinking led to our selfish materialistic desires, mindless violence, and our endless greed. Being right never felt so good to us and we always want to be right by any means necessary. Since the dawn of time many who challenged an idea were viewed as the distorter of peace, but actually it was just another idea of thinking.
Many early scientists were the ones who suffered the most by challenging the word of God and proposing a logical explanation for everything. Galileo Galilei was one of the scientists during the Renaissance age that defied the explanation from the church and tried to the find the true answers in life. One of the most famous ones is that the Earth was not the center of the universe but it was the sun. When this idea was first publicly known the church declared Galileo Galilei the traitor of God, but in reality he just made a simple observation that proved the other to be invalid. It is quite humorous that the human race thrives to be perfect when our entire race is built on imperfection. From an event that happened to me recently, my friend was offended by my view on religion. I began to wonder why he is getting angry. The reason was that he didn't want to be proven wrong on his beliefs. I do understand many different types of religion and try to keep an open mind, but some people are just too clingy on their beliefs and don't want to proven wrong on something they strongly believe in. The hardest thing for a human can do is to always keep an open mind and acknowledge any ideas that come to them.
It is quite sad that the human race thrives on their beliefs to be always right and valid when there is real logical explanation for everything. If everyone tries to keep an open mind and tries even a little to acknowledge every ideas, our human race can later have a much more peaceful and smarter future.

The Wrath of the Radical Believers
Mohandas Gandhi once said "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." From this quote alone I found out that the concept of religion can really drive people mad. Christianity is one of the few examples that lead to senseless wars and death to millions. I'm not trying to justify that the concept of Christianity and the word of Christ should be dismissed completely, the source of these senseless genocide of the "non-believers" are caused by the "radical believers." From the teachings of Jesus Christ he believed in making peace with your enemies by using the idea of a non-violent approach. The radical believers are the ones that take the idea of any religion and use it for their own gain.
Christianity has had this ugly past of people trying to convert one another to the idea of Jesus Christ. If one tried to resist you will be executed right on the spot, well if Jesus Christ was the one who started this idea of Christianity and he believed in the act of peace, why are we killing each other for it? Why are there more violence and more death because of this? Just because some may not agree with the aspects of Christianity doesn't give anyone the right to judge or abhor each other. In my personal experience I once had a friend who hated me because I wasn't so enthused about the idea of Christianity. He mocked me and told me I was going to end up in this dreadful place of eternal suffering called Hell. Now when I first heard that (me being in middle school) I was shocked and scared and I wanted to do everything in my power to stay away from that kind of place. As I later matured I saw what was really happening behind the curtains.
When I first went to church what I found out was really disappointing, basically the pastor tried to scare the people about going to hell and the only way to get yourself out of the situation was to put your dedication to Jesus Christ and the only way to do so was to buy his DVD about his lecture. IT WAS JUST ANOTHER PROFIT! Some say that something's just don't go together, and I thought money and religion was one of them. It is quite sad that some church uses fear to make profit out of it, now I thought we were all past that with Martin Luther's 95 theses, the saying of 'history tends to repeat itself' turns out to be true after all. I'm not saying that every church in the world is like this, but I believe the radical believers are the ones that are giving the idea of any religion a bad name. To this day hatred and violence is still occurring because of our different perspectives, instead of acknowledging each of our different idealism and bringing us together it separates us even more.

The Harsh Truth of Mohandas Gandhi
Mohandas Gandhi once said, "A 'No' uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a 'Yes' merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble." I concur with this quote by saying that the harsh truth is better than telling a white lie. Parents will say to always tell the truth while our friends may say that a little white lie won't hurt anyone, what is the right choice? By telling a 'lie' you are distorting the truth in order to please the person you are lying to or to hide yourself from its consequences.
To speak the truth can be difficult to some because the truth might be harder to handle. Everyday we go through a path of Yes and No that alters the outcome. By speaking the harsh truth and giving the answer 'No' we can benefit that its the truth and can resolve that No into a Yes later on in the future. But by telling a lie and getting an answer Yes it can later drastically affect your future by believing that to be the only truth and nothing more to it. Students of any high school fight for their position and will try anything to fit in, by giving the lie of Yes the students are putting themselves into troubles that can affect their lives later on. From personal experience many students will try to fit by doing recreational drugs to be 'in' the crowd and it all starts with this word that fails to escape the adolescent mind 'Yes.'
By just stating the truth and saying 'No' and trying not to please anyone, each individual has the power to have total control of their lives. Mistakes like these can lead the adolescent to gang wars, overdose on drugs, or just being under the influence. What happened to the truth? Why can't we just simply tell the truth? Many of us are just too afraid to handle the truth, many high school students just want to be accepted and by pretending to be somebody completely different they believe they can achieve acceptance from their peers. The high school students turned out to be slaves to their own existence.
But by stating that all high school students are slaves to their own existence is false because the entire student has a choice to face the harsh truth and move on or live with the false identity they created to be accepted by their peers. Many do believe that the opinion of others is far more important thus by giving the fake answer of 'Yes.' Telling a lie to get away from the consequences is the most cowardly thing to do, facing the harsh truth and meeting the consequence head to head is the path to choose. We are only human so telling a white lie here and there won't hurt anyone, but by constantly saying 'Yes' while the conscious wants to say 'No' the individual is only hurting themselves.
